The tapered narrower jaw makes this nipper easier to fit into narrow spaces. Uses a leaf spring with high durability for the opening mechanism. Recommended for cutting Brass wire no larger than 1.5mm, Nickel Silver wire 1.0mm or less, copper wire 1.0mm or less, aluminum wire 2.0mm or less. Not for cutting stainless-steel.
